It's On with Alexa Chung. Cancelled?

Has It's On with Alexa Chung has been canceled? The Twitter-verse is abuzz tonight with a rumour that Alexa Chung's take on America MTV show has been nixed.

If it's true then it's a shame: on the surface the show seemed to be doing well. Originally scheduled earlier in the day, it was moved to a later, higher traffic slot and was pulling in all the big names.

Most of all, it brought a fresh devil may care air to cheesy old MTV. Alexa thinks nothing of appearing on air with her hair scraped back in a scruffy pony tail, barely wearing makeup - and looking all the better for it.

I can't find any official announcement, so fingers crossed it's just a canard.
